Opera

Miner's Helmet with Roses. Robert Stickloon, 1991.

A Coal Region Opera received its world premier in 1992. In the years that followed, the opera enjoyed a successful run that included performances at the F. M. Kirby Center, the Mauch Chunk Opera House, a European tour sponsored in part by the United States Department of State, and a definitive appearance at Carnegie Recital Hall in Manhattan. To commemorate the 20th anniversary of A Coal Region Opera, a very limited number of the original promotional posters are being made available for a limited time.
